OK! Happy Divers

Aimed at giving people the chance of taking a dip into the world of scuba diving, a full 'try-a-dive' involves a brief information session, including an overall introduction to diving, various diving trip reports, a few of our own diving experiences and time for questions. This is then followed by the try-dive itself, in the familiar environment of a swimming pool.

If you are interested contact Maldives to discuss further.

Maldives currently run Try-a-dive nights on the first Wednesday of every month.

Mikes first try dive

Scuba diving allows us to enter a world totally removed from that which we're used to. A world where we are free to move around in all 3 dimensions, as we choose. A world filled with all nature of creatures, plants and fish.

Getting the hang of it

Aimed at giving people the chance of taking a dip into the world of scuba diving, a full 'try-a-dive' involves a brief information session, including an overall introduction to diving, various diving trip reports, a few of our own diving experiences and time for questions. This is then followed by the try-dive itself, in the familiar environment of a swimming pool.

When in the pool, you will be given a safety briefing and a run-through of the kit, whereupon an instructor will then take you through the dive itself, at your pace. There are no set objectives or requirements; we simply want you to enjoy yourself! All the in-water parts of our try-a-dive sessions are carried out on a one-to-one basis.

Try-a-dives provide an opportunity to meet and chat with instructors and other members of the club, find out more, and experience for yourself the joy of scuba diving.
