A busy harbour at Sharm On the day boat

Went to Sharm el Sheikh for a week and managed to do 8 dives (none below 30m you'll be pleased to know Mr DO!). The 8 dives were Temple, The Tower, White Knight, Amphorous, Jackfish Alley, Ras Ghaz Lani, Jackson Reef and Gamila.

Water was a constant 23ºC and visibility about 20-30 metres. Lots of sun but very windy on the first couple of days which made it quite cool. Managed to get a bit of a tan. Didn't do the last day of diving as Caryn could not dive at all due to chest pains after the first dive of her scuba review. Saw lots of different kinds of fish including, on the last day, an Eagle Ray, a Manta Ray (in the distance) and a turtle.

Couple of tips if you are going out there and didn't already know - get your Egyptian currency when you get there, I got 10 to the pound in the UK but you can get 12 to the pound in Egypt. Ring up the airline before you go and say you are going diving and they will give you some extra baggage allowance for free (would have saved me about £20 on hiring kit if I had known)!!
